The new trend in Europe: GRANNY AUPAIR
The image of an old lady with her hair in a bun knitting by the fire with her cat on her lap remains firmly rooted in fantasy, fairy tales and comics.
These new grannies are ready to leave their country to live with new families and their children.
The main advantage is their experience of children.
They are full of energy and enthusiasm.
For parents, there is a common feeling shared in that they prefer to have their children cared for by someone who is more experienced.
2012 opened a new era for women over 50 years.
Process:
You have a Mamie Aupair in a host family in France or abroad on the basis of an exchange of services.
Our "grannies" have the chance to visit a new country with a very low cost, connaîsent a new way of life and a completely different culture.
they can learn or improve a language and in return, the host family sharing of new customs and cultures.
It is a mutually rewarding experience for both parties.
Our "grannies" will be hosted by the family, staying in their own room with full board, and will be considered a family member, not as an employee.
Some answers to questions?
It is not paid employment.
The au pair arrangement is legally defined as a cultural exchange.
However, Host Families will provide their Granny with a weekly pocket money.
The allocation would be 100 € week, but many families offer much more than this.
How many hours a day Granny Au Pair expected to help out?
We refer to the standard model at par: 5 hours per day for 5 days a week at most.
We understand that the host families and peers to grannies can adapt the tasks at their convenience. There will be no ambiguity as the ground rules are clear before linking.
